Why a Candlestick Pattern Needs Neighbours
Pattern flashcards teach recognition. Studio work teaches judgement. Before you name a candle, ask what structure it sits on: prior swing, range edge, or open air with no nearby reference.
An engulfing that closes beyond a well-marked high after several failed tests deserves more attention than the identical shape in the middle of a quiet range. The pixels look the same; the reading does not.
Write one sentence: location, shape, and what would cancel the idea. If you cannot finish the sentence, you are not ready to label the pattern as usable.
Bring three of those notes to Candlestick Pattern Bootcamp if you want feedback on whether your language is consistent.
